BCR, a leading independent Australian freight forwarder and third party logistics provider (3PL) today announced the promotion of Bob Vavich to Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Mr. Vavich joined BCR in early 2014 as Head of Sales, bringing over 25 years of commercial freight forwarder and logistics experience, including leadership roles at Kuehne + Nagel, Panalpina and more recently DB Schenker. In his new capacity as CCO, Mr. Vavich will be accountable for BCR’s sales, account management, procurement and marketing functions.

Illegal Logging Laws – Information for Importers from Australian Customs and the Customs Brokers at BCR

BCR Announces David Katte as CEO Following Resignation of Holger Schaurig

BCR, a leading independent Australian freight forwarder and third party logistics provider today announced that Mr. Holger Schaurig has resigned as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. David Katte, a major shareholder and Board member of BCR, has been appointed to serve as the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Katte has been a Board member of BCR since 1994 and most recently Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Schaurig will work together with Mr. Katte through the transition which will conclude on 3 October 2014.
